Work At Home Business- SEO too Technical?

Work At Home Business- SEO too Technical?

Search Engine Optimization is all about getting your site seen on Google, preferably on the front page. The better the search engine place you can get the more likely real people will start to visit your site. Creating traffic is the main objective for everyone who wants to work at home.

Here is a quick overview of how Search engine optimization and Google work together or against one another in relation to your work at home business. Google search engine spiders work something like this. The number of words on a page is analyzed by search engine spiders to determine if there are enough words to be of value to a visitor to the page. If there are enough words on the visible part of the web page, then the spider evaluates the hidden text (called the source code). It looks for key words, descriptions, web page titles, link content and image descriptions and more. If the content for your work at home business web site qualifies, this invisible web page crawler then compares the overall page content with your entire website for a consistent theme. In other words, you can’t publish a page about your trip to Croatia on a site that sells nutritional products without breaking the consistent theme rule. Every website must have a consistent theme through out every web page.

If your web pages pass this evaluation, the spider zips on to calculate all the content in different formats. For example, are there too many keywords on the page as compared to the total number of words on the web page? A comparison of image descriptions and link content also plays a role in your work at home business site. When all of the calculations are done (in a matter of seconds) the calculated percent of substance is compared to all the other website pages on the Internet asking for the same keyword status. Then the spider determines web page ranking position to be displayed in the search engine ‘free found listing’ when that one key word is used by a web searcher.

Is SEO important? Well, if you can optimize your web site to show up on page one whenever someone does a Google search for the product or information you are offering, your work at home business will flourish with visitors or traffic. For example, if someone typed in nutritional supplement and your web site is listed in Google for that search term you can pick up many of free visitors to your site and wallah – you are rich (provided they buy your product). So don’t let the term search engine optimization put you off. It may sound technical, but the simple fact of the matter is, if it is done right, it really is not that technical.

If you want to find out more about how to develop a work at home business in a way that you probably have never heard of before, then I suggest you go to the link at the end of this paragraph. The business is based on the acquisition of customers, not on recruiting distributors, customers are the mainstay of any business
and without them a business cannot survive for long. We have all struggled to find something that works annd we have all probably come across opportunities that show promise only to be disappointed after a short period. There is nothing else out there like it, not that I have seen anyway.

Everyday, people all across the globe are looking for ways to start a home based business to make some extra money. Are you thinking about having a home based business opportunity?

Plan your online home business correctly, and refer to it as real business, and it will serve you well and will bring you to the freedom and financial independence you are dreaming about. One way to organize yourself is develop and create a business plan to decide how you will build your home business with short and long term goals in mind. Plus knowing what you need to do to develop a business are key ingredients to being successful.

You have become the owner of your own home based business opportunity. Welcome to free enterprise. Now where should you really begin just prior to making that final step and actually signing up to be a distributor? How do you actually evaluate a home business? What do you look for in a particular company in your efforts to start a home based business opportunity? There are a few things that you want to avoid and a few things that you should be looking for. Getting back to starting off with a business plan. You need to put it on paper and decide how you will develop your Home Based Business. Consider both the short term and long term goals of what you want to accomplish.

To help with your business you may decide to purchase any one of the numerous marketing programs that are available on the Internet. That will cost money, usually in the form of a monthly fee. Give serious consideration to these types of programs and be sure you understand what you are buying. Try to set up a budget for twelve months for your home based business. Include all the expenditures that you can think of. I noticed many MLM companies have their own internal marketing programs as additional expenses.

Does a Home Based Business sound wonderful for you?

Posted on September 10th, 2008 in home business | No Comments »

No commute in wintry mornings; no boss breathing down your neck; flexible schedule; reward for effort; control; work and family flexibility; not having to worry about being laid off; leaving the office politics way behind; not having to get dressed up; being with your children. These reasons are enough to make your business a success.

There are a few downsides to this new venture though. You have to be totally committed to make a success of your business. If what you want to do as a business is only a passing interest, your enthusiasm and motivation may wane over time. You must be absolutely committed to the success of your business if you are to achieve the success you desire.

One of the benefits of owning your own business is that you don’t have to answer to a boss. If you make a mistake or suffer a loss, it’s all on you. For this reason, you must be comfortable taking calculated risks. If security and stability are very important to you, maybe paid employment is a better option.

When you are your own boss it means exercising personal discipline to ensure that the work gets done. There will be no end of distractions to tempt you away from the task at hand when you’re working from home. You will need a healthy dose of self discipline to ensure you stay on task.

Patience is needed; starting a home-business is one thing; turning a profit is quite another. If your reasons are to get rich quick or work fewer hours, think again. A home-based business will definitely not deliver, get out now.

Flexibility and Adaptability; you may have come from a corporate environment where you had limited tasks to accomplish. In your home-based business you will need to be prepared to wear many hats, at least in the beginning. This means being flexible and adaptable, being prepared to learn new skills and willing to take on new tasks.

In the early stages of your business, be prepared to make sacrifices in terms of time and money to get your business off the ground. You will need to be prepared to put in long hours and, more likely than not, get by on less money than you were bringing home from your paid job.

The top element you will need to practice in your home business is your work ethic. If you have a strong work ethic then the need for personal discipline and sacrifice will come as no surprise. Consider your capacity for stress management. If it’s not high, learn ways to increase it.

Say goodbye to the perks of paid employment such as free medical, dental, life and disability insurance. No-one’s going to pay you while you take that two week vacation any more. Who would run your business while you’re away, anyway?

So you can see, although there are many wonderful reasons to work from home, there are also many strong reasons why a home-based business may not be the right choice for you. If you can deal with the harsh realities above and believe in your own personal qualities and motivations, you just may have what it takes to make a success of your own home based business.

Remember when you see a man at the top of a mountain,

he didn’t fall there. – unknown

Work at Home

Work at Home

I got to thinking how did people in years gone by make that extra cash for the necessities for their families when it was taboo for women to go out to work. After all they still needed to supplement the family income more so in those days than today given the average size of a family then.

They certainly didn’t have computers available as we now have, which to a large degree is the tool that enables us to work at home.

So how did they manage to Work At Home especially being considered as unemployable? Back in the 1500’s it was rarely acceptable for women to go out to work like their modern day counterparts. Possibly about the only occupation for a woman was to become a domestic worker and that posed problems for the married woman with children of her own to tend to.

Can you just imagine opening a day school at home in this day and age! Wow you would need degrees of all kinds, then would need to have a battery of lawyers checking every possible angle so that you would not be held liable for one thing or another let alone having the health authorities checking out this and that. By the time you were ready to open, if you ever got permission, you probably would have no money left to purchase furniture and materials.

Somehow I think in the 20th century that work at home idea would not work.

Although most women had very little education a lot turned to writing. In 1843 Mrs Harriet Beecher Stowe began her career writing at home and she was best known for her famous novel Uncle Toms Cabin. Many other women followed the same route. From 1886 onwards woman were getting such work at home jobs like making artificial flowers, paper box making, shoe fitting, umbrella making, hoop making for petticoats, painting toys, making covers for books, fur sewers, adding trims to ladies hats, making envelopes, wrapping candies, trimming men’s hats and the list went on.

Yes I can hear you now, thank heavens for computers, I am sure most of you will continue to opt for computers to work at home. Sounds better to me too! If you want to find out more about how to develop a Work At Home business the right way, with none of the expense of trying to compete for the attention of all the other online marketers. This is a real business with real income, and there is nothing else out there like it, not that I have seen anyway. Give me a yell today.

Key factors driving the growth of home based businesses in Canada are the technology. It’s increasingly more available, accessible, affordable and usable. Large corporations and government are restructuring and shedding skilled professionals. We want greater focus on home life and being near family or friends. The desire to reduce stress and time of commuting to workplace. Service sector – growth in opportunities that

A successful home-based business doesn’t require magical formulas, just a viable idea, common sense, and the dedication to carry out the plan. The key is getting to know you. Acknowledge your personal assets and liabilities for running a home business.

And yet, the task of turning your dream into a reality stays as much of a challenge as ever. An easier entry only increases the competition; so getting off to a solid start is crucial to success.

Home-based business continues to be one of the fastest growing forms of entrepreneurship. Census data for 1996 show 155,455 people in British Columbia working from home. This indicates nearly nine per cent of the provincial workforce.
Every year 15,000 British Columbians launch a new home-business. This accounts for nearly 50 per cent of all new business startups in the province.

This growth has given working from home a new respectability it had never enjoyed before now. In response, many home entrepreneurs have moved from hiding in basements to hanging out shingles for their home based business. Equipped with the latest affordable computer and communications technology, the home has become the practical and attractive workplace.

Work at home

Work at home

Work at home is a battle cry your hearing around the globe as people search for ways to supplement their income or quit their jobs. Have you had the dream of being able to work at home? As the price of gas continues to climb and the stress of our jobs take their toll, the dream of working at home has become quite popular. Do any of the items on the list below sound familiar?

Years of sleep deprivation

Relentless stress

Poor eating habits

This is no way to live a full and abundant life! I knew that work could be fun and rewarding without killing us in the process. That is when I looked for different ways of making a living. I wanted to have control over my life and work at home for years. I got tired of the daily routine of getting caught up in rush hour traffic and spending a lot of my hard earned cash on buying gas just so I could repeat the process day after day. I was determined to stay at home and watch my kids grow up instead of spending my days in an office.

I did some research and found that there was a way a person could stay at home and make a living. For many of us – the opportunity to work at home is only a pipe-dream, but for others it is a way of life. I had a couple of questions regarding Network Marketing! Why would not a company with a great product just sell it in stores? Why would they bother with distributors that work from their home instead of finding sales people they could have more control over?

The answers to these questions were finally answered when I asked a successful Network Marketer that had been working at home full-time for nearly 4 years. He explained to me that from a corporate business standpoint, Network Marketing allowed the parent company to replace the fixed expenses of retailing (salaries of sales people, advertising etc.) with the variable expense of commission-based sales.

This also opens up huge opportunities for those who want to work at home and have their own business. A person can become an independent distributor and sell a companies product without all the hassles of running a typical business. One of the major factors that make Network Marketing so desirable is that a person can work at home and be close to their family and work when they want to.

If you are looking for a way to work at home, I would suggest that you look at Network Marketing. Make your decisions based on fact, and not on some perception that may not be true. If you want to build your work around your life and work at home you need to take action. Do not let outdated or false perceptions or information determine your future.

If you are tired and worn out from all the hype, lies and duplication theory that does not work, take a look at a group of expert internet marketers that have discovered the true way of building a work at home business is by buying customers and not leads.

Its Good Business
