Get Noticed Using Viral Content

Posted on May 12th, 2010 in home based business | No Comments »

All online marketers would jump at the opportunity to have something become viral in their business.

No doubt about it, your business could seriously take off, and your confidence in your abilities would, too. Creating content with the intent to make it go viral is hard to do. Trying to predict the trends and “hot” topics and ideas of the internet is something that not even the most gifted psychic can do. Trying to figure out what will greatly interest people, anywhere, is a matter of luck more often than not. But there are certainly tactics you can use that can help you in many ways including possibly creating a viral campaign.

So continue to discover what these strategies are we’re talking about.

Always tag your content when you syndicate it to anywhere. And try not to think that tags are just tools for blogs. There are meta tags that can be placed on all your static site pages. Your tags provide a means for proper categorization so the people who are looking for that information will find it easier. It’s not hard, and the pay-off will be more popularity, traffic, and possibly rankings for your pages. If your content has enough appeal, as your ranking climbs more people will take notice of it – and then it may become viral in nature. Don’t be afraid of expressing an opinion. Having a strong opinion is something that everyone should aspire to. You will have to find the confidence to express what’s on your mind if you ever hope to produce viral content. Your statement must be strong, and you have to feel good about stating them. Weak statements offered with little passion do not make it to viral status. It might not even get read beyond the first few sentences!

Make an effort to be active in web communities. Participate in forums, or leave insightful comments on blogs in your niche. There’s a much larger conversation in your market, and try to be a part of it. Try to offer meaningful involvement, and if you do then your market will take note of who you are. You’ll often be able to link back to your site on comment forms and in forum sig files. You will develop a positive reputation if you try to genuinely help others, and one day something you create could become viral.

In a lot of ways the compelling factor with viral content is not so much the content, but the ability to grab someone’s attention and make them want to know more. Naturally, not all great content will have that kind of effect on people and be viral. You never know what will happen, so it’s really a good idea to try using these tips and see what happens.

Niche Marketing – Creating Your Very Own Authority Website

Posted on May 11th, 2010 in home based business | No Comments »

In today’s article, I will be going over information on keyword research, back linking strategies, niche marketing strategies, varieties of software tools that are available like, article spinning software, article spinners to name just some to assist you in optimizing your time and productivity. Grab some coffee and have a read as I expose the insider tips to ranking well within the SERP’s.

Everyone may have a distinct opinion however, usually when your website is on page 1 of G, then consider it an authority site. The larger the category, the more articles you will usually find on an authority website. Anticipate to see in the range of several hundred plus articles for those varieties of sites. Some of you might mistake this with a niche market site. Niche websites usually have 5, 10 or 20 articles about very particular key phrases but, in very low competitive categories. Based on your long term plan, every niche website could become an authority site.

The Strategy of Choosing Keywords

Too many individuals entering the online marketing game are going after large keyword categories like, work from home business. You now know why keyword analysis is so crucial to your long term viability online. Selecting the correct key phrases is the difference between creating wealth or not. More importantly, its also the explanation why many give up so quickly on the internet.

Niche Marketing 2.0 – A Closer Look

Here’s my recommendation whether or not you’re new or a veteran. Research, research and more research in niche markets. Invest your time in conducting a proper and thorough assessment of your competition and whether or not its even feasible to rank on your keyword terms. The best way to do this, is laser targeted key phrase analysis often called niche marketing. Besides, simply look at the people who are successful and they will let you know they focus their time and efforts on niche market concepts and niche marketing strategies. As a guideline, when looking for long tail keyword terms, I might search in the range of 1000 to 5000 searches per month and look for articles ranking on page 1. That way, I am fairly sure I will rank sooner, rather than later, with a lot less frustration.

How To Pick a Domain Name

As a general rule, I always try and match the key phrase term I picked, to a site name. You can even add a prefix like “about” or dashes between the name is all right. That is yet another search engine optimization tip this week for you newbies.

Building Links Discussed

One way links are the back bone of the ranking game. Backlinks should be external in addition to, internally based. Obviously, the bulk must be external. Which means, you should have as many external links pointing back toward your web site. As well as, you will want to have an internal linking structure developed, that has several internal pages pointing to other web pages of your site. The bottom line to ranking, the more high quality back links you’ve got, the higher in the SERP’s that you will be. Sometimes, you could just need just a few links. Other instances, you will want hundreds or 1000’s depending on the competitors and the niche markets that you’re in.

The Means of Getting Back-links

Building your back linking network is sluggish and in my view mentally agonizing. After all, its boring chatting about the same stuff over and over, in a totally different approach for each article. Yup, one can only talk about acne pimple cream in so many ways (lol). Nevertheless, when writing your articles, follow what I call the 80 – 20 rule. Which means, 80 percent of your hyperlinks point to inner internet pages.

To get a jump, begin your back linking efforts to your niche marketing methods, concentrate on posting to the top tier directories like Ezine Articles, Idea Marketers and GoArticles. They will get your web site listed more quickly. Do not submit your url to Google since its ideal to let G discover your site. Take into account, I usually just submit 5 to 10 articles max to each place for every one of my web sites because the major search engines will only award so much SEO link juice from a single IP address.

Getting the Most of Your Old Articles Utilizing an Article Spinner

I find it humorous at times, how Bloggers on the web are big into writing unique content, yet find it distasteful to think about using something like an article rewriter or article spinner. The fact is, the search engines like Google make the rules on the internet. I believe in utilizing legitimate software to assist me rank for key phrase terms. It would be good if we all played nice on-line. However, the reality is, in an effort to compete alongside experienced internet marketers, it’s essential to make use of software tools that will assist you leverage your time and productivity. I’m not talking the black hat type either. But, using reputable stuff like article spinning software is perfectly okay. For those who not approve of the concept, then just don’t use them.

If I were to sum up this large article, I would recommend the two most necessary elements to making this all work, is good key phrase analysis with a concentration on niche markets and getting inbound links. The other elements are selecting a good domain title, and using technology to leverage your time like an article rewriter or article spinning software to assist you. At the end of the day, unless you are actually willing to do the work, everything else is pointless.

Better Recruiting Results – Home Based Business

Improve Your Recruiting Efforts in a Home Based Business
By Darrell Lischka

How did your recruiting efforts go in your home based business for 2008?

There are a variety of ways to recruit people into your business opportunity. We have all seen the ads on the internet, read about it and heard about the latest and greatest ways to bring in 5, 10, or 15 people every week from the so called guru’s in the network marketing industry. The reality is, most people would be very excited if they could bring in even 2 to 4 people consistently every month.

The fact is recruiting is the lifeblood of your business. You can’t create a solid business unless you either sponsor enough new business affiliates and/or bring in new customers. It’s interesting how many people focus solely on bringing in business builders and forget about just having new customers. When you are building your home based business, you want both business builders and customers.

I’m sure you have heard about individuals that have achieved great success in only 3 to 6 months after joining XYZ company. However, did you ever consider how they actually achieved so much success in a short period of time? Chances are they came into that company with a large circle of contacts. So don’t compare their results with yours.

So what do you do if you do not have a large contact base or credibility with people?

My suggestion is to create one. Now this won’t be quick or easy to do. However, by staying focused and being dedicated, one can create a large circle of friends that respect them and over time some will join you in your home based business. As leaders, its our responsibility to bring new people in the right way and to teach them correct business building strategies.

There are dozens of methods to use and everyone has their own techniques and strategies on recruiting. First, you could go out to one of the leads companies who specialize in business opportunity leads and purchase one of their packages, then start calling those prospects. I have done that before with basically zero results. One thing to note on leads as a general rule. They have a very low success rate, so if you have deep pockets and don’t mind calling hundreds and possibly thousands of people to build a business, then go for it. I would suggest you stop wasting your money by buying leads.

There are other ways to create your own leads that are unique to you. I have used a system called Veretekk. It’s a marketing system that is designed to help you create your own premium leads. Just Google Veretekk and sign up for a free system via their home company page. They offer a variety of free training on SEO and other internet strategies.

Second, some people really like the 3 foot rule and face to face interactions. I know of many people who have built large and successful home based businesses by this method. In fact, the highest success rate is still face to face. For example, you can attend chamber of commerce etc meetings, network meetings in your local area, personal development seminars are great places to meet and mingle with like minded individuals.

Have you ever considered calling business professionals like Real Estate professionals, mortgage brokers and insurance agents. Why you might ask? Think about it for a moment. What do all 3 have in common? They are in sales and get paid for production. So they understand that if you want to be successful in your own business opportunity, they will need to bring in new people and customers.

Third, is to shake hands online and get to know people and create an online presence via social networking. The social networking has grown exponentially over the past few years like Facebook, MySpace, Squidoo etc. Now this will take time doing anything online, especially when people can’t see you face to face. So again, its investing time in people that will win you your financial freedom.

Haven’t quit yet? Still interested in a freedom income? Cool! Keep reading…

It’s a numbers game. Have you heard that before? Exposure, it’s always about exposure. People buy WHO we are, not what we have. You don’t have to be anything you are not, everybody has unique gifts and abilities. Just BE you. Don’t think for a minute you have to come across as Mr. or Mrs. Network Marketer who has a really successful home based business if that is not the case.

Once you have done enough of this you will have created a list of new friends that respect you. Your objective should be to develop your list to about 150 friends that you have had actual telephone conversations with. Do you realize how many people they could refer you to? Thousands! In one year, out of 150 friends, you can be assured that 3 or 4 will be looking for an opportunity every month. Which ones? Who knows, the only way to find out is by staying in touch and being a friend. People will know if you are being legitimate or trying to fake it. Be yourself and be a friend.

From my observation, the Law of Averages guarantees at least one person a month will join you in your home based business. It’s a lot of work before results start showing up. This is why most people quit and stay broke. It does not matter what program you are in, if you recruit one solid person in this manner every month, one day you will have an awesome freedom income.

From my perspective, being part of a team of like minded people sharing a similar vision of the future, being passionate about a product mission in an environment that inspires, encourages and teaches is the most effective method to accomplish this. Network Marketing is not for everybody. It takes a lot sweat equity to make it happen. Are you up for the challenge and will you be one of the success stories in your company.

Make it a great day
